From today’s search referrers: “weird movie where kid child has to pee urinate in parent food time travel film”

Wow. That does sound weird. I’m no film historian or anything, but could it be The Leaky Bladder Baby in the Family Restaurant of Tomorrow? (Michael Bay’s finest work.)

Oh, and yesterday, when two of the top referrers were “attaching electrodes” and “chicken viscera”? I don’t want to know. Just take it elsewhere, okay?

I’m not sure how, exactly, but somewhere along the way, I seem to have become a Doctor Who fan. Not an all-out Whovian or anything, and mostly of the new series, but it’s definitely grown on me.

Which makes the fact that my DVR twice failed to record the season finale this weekend all the more aggravating.

I think I can wait until July 4, but it still sucks.

It’s been a good couple of weeks since I mentioned Kaleidotrope, my upcoming literary zine-type-thingy. So allow me to mention it once again.

I’m still accepting submissions for the first issue, set for October 2006, and will be until the end of the month. After that, I’m taking a short break and all but ignoring new submissions until September. (When, yeah, I’ll start considering material for the April 2007 issue. Provided this first issue doesn’t kill or bankrupt me, that is.)

At this point, I’m still considering all submissions equally, but I’d very much like more nonfiction and artwork. So, if you’ve got some of that, please do feel free to send it my way.

I’ll also have ordering, subscription and, possibly, advertising information available soon, if you’d like to help save me from total embarrassment and destitution in my endeavor.
