So I actually saw the Nightmare & Dreamscapes episode I was talking about the other day. It was really quite good. I worry a little about the rest of the miniseries, but this was a very strong start.

Update: Andy Duncan (via Gwenda Bond) explains pretty much everything I liked about the first episode, much better than I did. I still haven’t watched much of the second episode, “Crouch End,” but the few minutes at the beginning I caught didn’t give me any reason to hope Duncan’s assessment is off the mark. I’m looking forward to the rest of the miniseries, but I suspect that, like just about every anthology show out there, overall it’s going to be a lot of hit and miss.
