Last week’s showing was pretty lousy, so I’ll be keeping those up for awhile, too. As always, good luck!

Say…want a first look at the cover art for Kaleidotrope‘s second issue…? It’s pretty keen.

The rest of the issue isn’t too shabby either, with terrific work from writers like Kiel Stuart, Adicus Ryan Garton, Rachel Swirsky, and Kristine Ong Muslim. The April issue also features additional artwork, some assorted weird bits and pieces, and an in-depth interview with popular fantasy author John Marco.

If you haven’t already, please consider picking up a copy or subscription to help keep the zine going and my contributors happy.

I don’t know if I share Noel Murray’s cautious enthusiasm for the upcoming films of 2007, but I like his description of David Fincher’s Zodiac:

In the early going, the movie seems to be about the weird, wild ghost of the ’60s, and how it haunted at a time when people didn’t have the resources — the fax machines, the VCRs — to get ahead of it.

I’m going to see the movie this Sunday, and I’m looking forward to it.
