I don’t know if I share Noel Murray’s cautious enthusiasm for the upcoming films of 2007, but I like his description of David Fincher’s Zodiac:

In the early going, the movie seems to be about the weird, wild ghost of the ’60s, and how it haunted at a time when people didn’t have the resources — the fax machines, the VCRs — to get ahead of it.

I’m going to see the movie this Sunday, and I’m looking forward to it.
