I can’t afford to live there without a job. And I can’t get a job (apparently) unless I already live there. That, I believe, is the textbook definition of a catch-22.
Meanwhile (speaking of textbooks), I’m also looking at graduate school options. I suppose it’s asking too much to find a program which doesn’t require the GRE for admission, will allow me to apply and register for fall 2004 classes, and which won’t be a total bust financially and academically if I do somehow manage to leave New York before a semester is up, huh?
Gee, Roger, tell us what you really think:
There was no reason to make this movie, and no reason to see it.
Of course, it could be worse. About North, for instance, he wrote:
I hated this movie. Hated hated hated hated hated this movie. Hated it. Hated every simpering stupid vacant audience-insulting moment of it. Hated the sensibility that thought anyone would like it. Hated the implied insult to the audience by its belief that anyone would be entertained by it.
The man should never be accused of pulling his punches.
