What, no book recommendations? I’m not looking for books you’d think I’d enjoy based on the list of what I’ve already read, if that’s what you’re wondering. I’m just curious: hasn’t anybody read any good books lately?

“[T]he only thing better than living in a world that allows the production of a movie called Snakes on a Plane is a world that allows for a novelization of said movie.” – Mike Sterling
“[N]obody thinks long and hard about music and what it means to them and then ultimately decides to listen to Toby Keith.” – Ryan Irvine
“Equality is not a concept. It’s not something we should be striving for. It’s a necessity. Equality is like gravity. We need it to stand on this earth as men and women.” – Joss Whedon
You know, I really enjoyed the new Doctor Who — more, even, than I expected to — but a one-hundred-dollar list price seems pretty ridiculous to me.
Update: Okay, now having seen the number of bonus features included on the DVD set, the price tag doesn’t seem quite so steep. I’m still glad I bought my copy online at a discount, but I certainly can’t accuse the BBC of skimping on the extras.
