That’s my story, anyway, and I’m sticking to it. A genuine snow day would have been nicer, but with both my phone and internet connection on the fritz, maybe it’s just as well that I’m finally at work.
Month: January 2004
Both Betty and Neil Gaiman point out this wonderful Hamlet text adventure game, so now I’m doing so, too. It’s terrifically frustrating.
I don’t know if I knew this: State College has a webcam. Thanks to Alyce Wilson for pointing it out.
Three questions in my referrer logs this morning, two of which I think have already been more than adequately answered. (If you don’t study, folks, you’ll have no one but yourself to blame when you fail the upcoming quiz.) Anyway, the questions are:
- what does an ichthyologist do?
- how much money do a ichthyologist make? and
- what is the typical day is like being a bank teller?
Leaving certain minor grammatical quibbles aside for the moment, the answers for the first two are as follows:
- studies fish; and
- not “very much at all”, at least according to Mr. Kilgannon
As for the last…well, I can tell you what the dull life of a city stockbroker is like, but that’s about it. Do we have any bankers in the audience?
