George W. Bush’s resume. Found through This Modern World. I share his hope that “with any luck [Bush will] be unemployed in a year and a half,” but most of the current Democrat candidates aren’t terribly inspiring. I very much like what I’ve seen of Howard Dean, but I’m worried the nomination’s going to go to Joe Lieberman — who’s basically Bush-Lite nowadays.

I hate proofreading footnotes. And that’s all I’ve got to say about that.

Today (or rather yesterday), the Bill O’Reilly search requests make (or rather made) a small comeback. Overall, however, the referalls listed this morning are pretty interesting and more than a little literary. There’s “trickster figure uncle julius”, “kafka and freedom”, “macbeth and religion”, and “expatriate novels hemingway fitzgerald”. Of course, there’s also “ass sex” and “pictures of ashley judd’s hair”, but you can’t have everything, now can you?

Maybe I should start posting at Disturbing Search Requests again. I do keep getting hits from it.

The University is apparently offering a sexual harassment information session two weeks from now. Which is all fine and good, but what I don’t quite understand is this note attached with the announcement: “After lunch mints will be served.”

God’s in his heaven, and all is right with the world: the Bill O’Reilly search requests have tapered off in the past couple of days, replaced by the usual searches for “penguin shit”, “whale porn”, and “pictures of jennifer lopez’s feet.”
