Wow, that’s some line-up of writers-in-residence… There’s a part of me that seriously wants to apply…even though I don’t think my writing portfolio is quite up to snuff at the moment, and I’m almost certain I couldn’t swing the entire month of July unless I quit my job, even if I did get in.
Still, it does look very cool…
There’s the Booming Ground online mentorships program through the University of British Columbia. You don’t need to quit your job, and I found it pretty helpful.
Well, Clarion holds a great appeal, not least of all because of its long and successful history. And those really are some phenomenal writers to learn from. (Mary Anne Mohanraj is the only one I’m not really familiar with.)
