On the street yesterday, I heard a guy hawking one of those free news dailies say as part of his pitch, “Don’t be ashamed to read a free newspaper!”

We’re not. We’d be ashamed to read a bad newspaper.

There’s a mass of “Work from Home” spam messages in my in-box. Is somebody trying to tell me something?
