Been awhile, but here again is the Friday Five:
1. Explain why you started to journal/blog. It seemed like a good idea at the time. I needed an excuse to write every day, and everybody else was starting one.
2. Do people you interact with day to day or family members know about your journal/blog? Why or why not? As near as I can tell, no. Not one of them has ever mentioned something I’ve written here. I don’t go out of my way to keep what I write here a secret, but I also don’t go out of my way to let people know about it. I tend to tell only two types of people about my weblog: good friends and complete strangers.
3. Do you have a theme for your journal/blog? None that’s immediately apparent. It’s come to my attention, however, that I perhaps spend an inordinate amount of time writing about my infrequent road trips to New York, the Penn State Monty Python Society, and how I have nothing else but that to write about.
4. What direction would you like to have your journal/blog go in over the next year? Write more. Write better. Encourage others to write back.
5. Pimp five of your favorite journals/blogs. I like different weblogs for different reasons. There are links in the lefthand sidebar. They’re all pretty keen.
