What do you do when your software outright lies to you? I have two images open in Microsoft Photo Editor right now, which are supposed to be the same height. Photo Editor says they’re the same height, but one is clearly twice as large as the other. One is very clearly not 0.89 inches tall. I don’t much care if it distorts the image — it’s intended as a thumbnail, linked to the larger photo — but it would be nice if it was the same size as all the others. Especially when my software says it already is.

These two images, for instance, are apparently only 0.02 inches apart. Does that look like 0.02 inches’ difference to you?

I’m trying to update the Monty Python Society website, and I’m starting to worry it’s going to take even longer than I expected.
