I often have a difficult time explaining captioning to people, even good friends. “Oh,” they usually say, “that’s nice. You spend how much time doing that?” And they smile and nod and quickly change the subject. That’s okay. I enjoy it. Which is why — if you missed Gerson’s announcement — I’ve offered some of my own photographs to be mercilessly capped. So if you like the photographs you’ve been seeing here but thought what I really needed was some way for you to make fun of them, now’s your chance.

Well, the weblog still looks crap in Netscape 4.7 and below, and I don’t know if there’s anything I can do about that. If it’s any consolation, it looks fine in Netscape 6 and Internet Explorer 5.5. At least, it does for me. Anyone else out there having difficulty?
