It says something about me, I’m sure, that I maybe found this one of the more interesting lines in this article about superlions in Africa:
Irons, who most famously starred in the TV series Brideshead Revisited, describes the scene in this ‘magical world’, where two great warriors live side by side in the most beautiful terrain.
I guess the other acting he’s done in the intervening 25 years, like his voice work in The Lion King, or his Oscar-winning role in Reversal of Fortune didn’t get much play in the United Kingdom. I’m not trying to sound like Irons’ publicist here,* but I did find this a little amusingly odd.
Oh, and the stuff about the lions is interesting too…
