I’m having a tough time imagining Michael Palin, who’s been married to his high-school sweetheart for close to forty years now, as particularly sex mad at any point in his life. But apparently:

Or so says contactmusic.com anyway, in what barely qualifies as a news story, even if it is true. There’s no byline attached to the article, and it’s barely more than an attributed quote taken out of god knows what context. Is it even a recent quote? And I’m no expert, but doesn’t it sound like maybe Palin was making a joke? Doesn’t calling him a “sex tourist” make him sound a little like, I don’t know…Gary Glitter?
