Not much to say about this Friday, even if it was the thirteenth. I finished reading Nalo Hopkinson’s Midnight Robber, which took me a little longer than I expected but which I quite enjoyed. I definitely liked it a lot more than that last book I read.
And that’s about it, really.
Song of the day
I couldn’t decide between…well, “I Can’t Decide” by Scissor Sisters and “All this Useless Beauty” by Elvis Costello, two of the tracks correctly guessed in this week’s Random Guess 10. (I also already posted Costello’s song last August.)
So I decided to split the difference with “Voodoo Child” by Rogue Traders
FYI, it’s splitting the difference because both this and the Scissor Sisters song feature pretty heavily in the last episode of David Tennant’s third season of Doctor Who — “Here! Come! The! Drums!” — and the Rogue Traders song pretty heavily samples Costello’s “Pump it Up.” In case you were wondering.
