These things happen, and maybe I&#8217;m just aggravated, just trying to get to work or back home without too much trouble. I mean, most days, the trains run on time, right?<\/p>\n<p>I really have no idea. They didn&#8217;t today. I got up this morning at Jamaica to catch my connecting train, only to discover it was running 16 minutes late, and so effectively wasn&#8217;t my connecting train anymore. I hopped back on the original train, where of course I no longer had a seat, and rode in to Penn Station.<\/p>\n<p>This evening, my train home was cancelled altogether, and I had to get a slightly later (and hot and overcrowded) train on which a bunch of cancelled trains were squeezed.<\/p>\n<p>In between those, I think I may have done some work.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oh, Monday.
