We put up Christmas lights this afternoon, and this evening I watched <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0087884\/\">Paris, Texas<\/a>. It&#8217;s really good, but kind of an odd movie &#8212; one that, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.avclub.com\/articles\/paris-texas,11094\/\">as Scott Tobias puts it<\/a>, &#8220;[makes] a familiar landscape seem like uncharted territory.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And honestly, that&#8217;s about it as far as Saturday goes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Not a particularly exciting day.
