[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.waxy.org\/links\" title=\"Waxy.org Links\">via<\/a>]\n<p>You know, I&#8217;m pretty sure I&#8217;d never heard of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Maslow's_hierarchy_of_needs\">Maslow&#8217;s hierarchy<\/a> before just a couple of weeks ago, and since then I&#8217;ve seen <a href=\"http:\/\/graphjam.com\/2010\/07\/20\/funny-graphs-internet-needs\/\">multiple parodies<\/a> of it. Weird how that works. [<a href=\"http:\/\/maximumverbosit.blogspot.com\" title=\"Maximum Verbosity\">via<\/a>]<\/li>\n<li>Good news for <i>Quantum Leap<\/i> fans: <a href=\"http:\/\/blastr.com\/2010\/08\/scott-bakula-there-will-b.php\">there will be a new movie<\/a>. The bad news: it probably won&#8217;t be about Dr. Sam Beckett.<\/li>\n<li>Man, Spock&#8217;s back <a href=\"http:\/\/blastr.com\/2010\/08\/berkeley-scientists-say-s.php\">must have been killing him<\/a> at the end of the day!<\/li>\n<li>Google says there are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gearfuse.com\/google-estimates-that-there-are-129864880-books-in-the-world\/\">129,864,880 books in the world<\/a>. If I&#8217;m lucky, I read about 50 a year. You do the math. Luckily, I intend to live to be several millions years old. (At least I know I can skip <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/gossip\/2010\/08\/03\/2010-08-03_justin_bieber_to_release_illustrated_book_not_memoir_im_a_little_too_young_to_wr.html\">that Justin Bieber book<\/a>, so that&#8217;s a load off my mind.)
