And I see the <a href=\"http:\/\/scifiwire.com\/2010\/07\/image-of-the-day-zombie-w.php\">zombie wedding cake<\/a>. But what I don&#8217;t see is the obvious next step: the <i>zombie Tauntaun<\/i> wedding cake. Get on it, cake-makers!<\/li>\n<li>The movie(s) may still disappoint, but I&#8217;m genuinely excited by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tor.com\/blogs\/2010\/06\/harry-potter-and-the-deathly-hallows-trailor\">new <i>Harry Potter<\/i> trailer<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Martin Scorcese, meanwhile, <a href=\"http:\/\/artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com\/2010\/07\/06\/contradicting-report-scorsese-says-he-hasnt-seen-harry-potter-movies\/?partner=rss&#038;emc=rss\">has never seen the <i>Harry Potter<\/i> movies<\/a>. I think they passed up a great opportunity to have him direct one of them. Seriously, can&#8217;t you see De Niro or Keitel as Voldemort?<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;ve been saying <a href=\"http:\/\/www.good.is\/post\/the-very-long-history-of-emoticons\/\">this about emoticons<\/a> for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unreality.net\/weblog\/?p=1653\">years<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unreality.net\/weblog\/?p=264\">years<\/a>. [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bookninja.com\/\" title=\"Bookninja\">via<\/a>]<\/li>\n<li>And finally, today through Thursday marks the third <a href=\"http:\/\/www.peterdavid.net\/index.php\/2010\/07\/02\/harlan-ellison-supersale\/\">Harlan Ellison Rare Book Purge<\/a>.  I&#8217;m tempted, though mostly by the stuff that&#8217;s a little outside of my price range. Say what you will about the man &#8212; and heaven knows there&#8217;s a <i>lot<\/i> to be said, both for and against &#8212; there&#8217;s no denying that he&#8217;s written some phenomenal work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I see the dead Tauntaun wedding cake.
