I&#8217;m amused to discover that I&#8217;d be working out of state if I continued to live across the border in Long Island. [<a href=\"http:\/\/gerrycanavan.wordpress.com\/\" title=\"Gerry Canavan\">via<\/a>]<\/li>\n<p><\/font><font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana\"><\/p>\n<li>Meanwhile, I have read none of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/blogs-and-stories\/2010-02-24\/the-bestselling-books-in-your-city\/\">the bestselling books in New York City<\/a>. (Though <em>Under the Dome<\/em> is sitting in my e-reader, waiting.) Maybe Long Island <em>should<\/em> secede. [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bookninja.com\/\" title=\"Bookninja\">via<\/a>]<\/li>\n<p><\/font><font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana\"><\/p>\n<li>How did I not know Meat Loaf <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Stoney_%26_Meatloaf\">used to be a Motown artist<\/a>?<\/li>\n<p><\/font><font size=\"2\" face=\"Verdana\"><\/p>\n<li>And fianlly, John Scalzi discusses the pros and cons <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.amctv.com\/scifi-scanner\/2010\/01\/deadly-scifi-creatures.php\">of being killed by various sci-fi creatures<\/a>.
