[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tor.com\/\" title=\"Tor.com\">via<\/a>]<\/li>\n<li>Just last week, Gail Simmons <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bravotv.com\/top-chef\/blogs\/gail-simmons\/its-all-french-to-me\">was reminding <i>Top Chef<\/i> viewers<\/a> that &#8220;The language and structure of the kitchen in America is still very much dominated by French terminology&#8230;&#8221;\n<p><font face=\"Verdana\" size=\"2\"><\/p>\n<p>Now I learn that Julia Child, author of <i>Mastering the Art of French Cooking<\/i>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2009\/09\/17\/world\/europe\/17julia.html?partner=rss&#038;emc=rss\">has never been translated into French<\/a>. Apparently, the French see her cookbook as dated and a caricature.
