I find it amusing that we&#8217;re now designing software <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/groups\/977532@N24\/pool\/with\/3247829169\/\">that can be equally fooled<\/a>. [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.waxy.org\/links\" title=\"Waxy.org Links\">via<\/a>]<\/li>\n<li>Of course, that&#8217;s not the only thing humans are designing software and robots to do. We&#8217;re also, apparently, building <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tor.com\/index.php?option=com_content&#038;view=blog&#038;id=22037\">robot suits<\/a>. This is equal parts cool and goofy looking.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;ve never really been tempted to get a tattoo, mostly because I can&#8217;t think of a particular design I&#8217;d want to carry around with me forever. That said, these <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.discovermagazine\/loom\/science-tattoo-emporium\/\">science<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/scifiwire.com\/2009\/03\/check-out-the-sci-fi-tatt.php\">science fiction<\/a> tattoos are pretty cool. Free lifetime subscription to the first person who gets a <a href=http:\/\/www.kaleidotrope.net\/\">Kaleidotrope<\/a> tattoo! (Lifetime of the zine, not of the subscriber.) If you&#8217;re there next month, May 9th specifically, Terry Jones will apparently be hosting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newsfromme.com\/archives\/2009_03_24.html#016852\">a screening of <i>Monty Python and the Holy Grail<\/i><\/a>. Sounds like fun!<\/li>\n<li>And finally, following up on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unreality.net\/weblog\/?p=3397\">Gwenda Bond&#8217;s recent thoughts on sci-fi foodstuffs<\/a>, I see that over at Tor.com Jason Henninger is starting a new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tor.com\/index.php?option=com_content&#038;view=blog&#038;id=22108\">series on science fiction cuisine<\/a>.
