I&#8217;m seriously tempted to donate. [<a href=\"http:\/\/whatever.scalzi.com\/\" title=\"John Scalzi\">via<\/a>]<\/li>\n<li>Although, male or female, I <i>do<\/i> think the person one marries should at least be required <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metro.co.uk\/weird\/article.html?Man_wants_to_marry_cartoon_character&#038;in_article_id=380269&#038;in_page_id=2\">to exist<\/a>. [<a href=\"http:\/\/journal.neilgaiman.com\/\" title=\"Neil Gaiman\">via<\/a>]<\/li>\n<li>Speaking of interesting and odd ideas: <a href=\"http:\/\/gonzolabs.org\/dance\/\">Dance Your PhD<\/a>. Seriously, that&#8217;s just weird. If anybody out there is working on a doctorate in interpretive dance, you could <i>so<\/i> clean up at this thing! [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.waxy.org\/links\/\" title=\"Waxy.org Links\">via<\/a>]<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;d almost be okay with Fox consigning Joss Whedon&#8217;s <i>Dollhouse<\/i> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scifi.com\/scifiwire\/index.php?id=61970\">to the graveyard of Friday night<\/a> if they didn&#8217;t also probably expect it to get great ratings there. Dump it on Friday, sure, but then let it thrive there. At this point, though, I really worry about the show&#8217;s chances &#8212; not so much because of Fox, but because of the hype and all the online stories trying to depict it as a doomed failure before it even airs. Still, Fox isn&#8217;t helping any.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.newsfromme.com\/archives\/2008_11_06.html#016172\">Mark Evanier<\/a> makes a really good point about the futility of trying to predict the <i>next<\/i> presidential election before the winner of this one&#8217;s even sworn in: &#8220;Could someone point me to some of the predictions made just after Election Day in 2004 that said that in four years, this nation just might elect a black guy and Joe Biden in a landslide?&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Did you know the entire run of <i>Peanuts<\/i> <a href=\"http:\/\/comics.com\/peanuts\/?DateAfter=1950-10-02&#038;DateBefore=1950-10-02&#038;Order=s.DateStrip+DESC&#038;PerPage=1&#038;x=51&#038;y=16&#038;Search=\">is now online<\/a>? Well, now you do.
