They bleeped it when the show was re-run on  the west coast a few hours later, and co-host Meredith Viera <a href=\"href=\" watch?v=\"3tfBpCuY1WA\"\">went on to apologize<\/a> to the viewers at home. <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Verdana\" size=\"2\">&#8220;We would do <em>nothing<\/em> to offend the audience,&#8221; she said.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Verdana\" size=\"2\">Well yeah, but that&#8217;s sort of the <em>problem<\/em> with the show, now isn&#8217;t it, Meredith?<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Verdana\" size=\"1\">* It&#8217;s &#8220;cunt,&#8221; okay? I&#8217;m sorry if you&#8217;re offended, and I&#8217;m not arguing that it&#8217;s the sort of thing that does belong on daytime television, but it&#8217;s just a word.
