The man definitely comes across as intelligent, knowledgeable and passionate <a href=\"http:\/\/www.avclub.com\/content\/feature\/24_hours_of_horror_with_eli\">about the horror genre<\/a>, so maybe it&#8217;s unfair that I&#8217;ve been writing his work off as &#8220;torture porn&#8221; and avoiding it.
