You know, I&#8217;m not ashamed to admit it, there was a brief time when I really enjoyed the television series. And the first film had its moments. But this seems a lot like beating a dead horse. Is it really worth revisiting this material &#8212; and, from the sound of it, the worst, most ridiculous aspects of the material &#8212; when the last movie took such a beating at the box office? Director Brett Leonard may be right when he says, &#8220;Everything I have done has led me to this kind of mythical fantasy.&#8221; But you have to keep in mind most <a href=\"http:\/\/us.imdb.com\/name\/nm0502577\/\">everything he&#8217;s done<\/a> is crap. There are <a href=\"http:\/\/avclub.com\/content\/node\/17987\">worse sequels<\/a> in which to invest one&#8217;s time and money, but can&#8217;t we just give it a rest already?<\/li>\n<li>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thismodernworld.com\/weblog\/mtarchives\/week_2005_07_24.html#002353\">Tom Tomorrow<\/a> comes <a href=\"http:\/\/accstudios.com\/\">Liberality<\/a>. Because you know any comic book that envisions a future world in which &#8220;an underground group of bio-mechanically enhanced conservatives led by Sean Hannity, G. Gordon Liddy and Oliver North [must] thwart Ambassador Usama Bin Laden&#8217;s plans to nuke New York City&#8221; has got to be good for a laugh.<\/li>\n<li>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boingboing.net\/\">Boing Boing<\/a>, these wonderful <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bugdreams.com\/\">bug photos<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boingboing.net\/2005\/08\/05\/selfportrait_with_pl.html\">this one<\/a> that pretty much puts all the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mirrorproject.com\/\">Mirror Project<\/a> entries to shame<\/li>\n<li>From <a href=\"http:\/\/mumpsimus.blogspot.com\/\">Mumpsimus<\/a>, this cute idea for a <a href=\"http:\/\/mumpsimus.blogspot.com\/2005\/04\/fictional-world-coming-soon-to-tv-near_13.html\">reality television show<\/a> and a link to <a href=\"http:\/\/vanderworld.blogspot.com\/2005\/08\/yeah-but-how-about-lousy-last-lines-of.html\">this contest<\/a> for the worst last lines of a novel &#8212; sort of an anti-<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bulwer-lytton.com\/\">Bulwer-Lytton<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Which brings me to the <a href=\"http:\/\/adamcadre.ac\/lyttle.html\">Lyttle Lytton Contest<\/a>, courtesy of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bookslut.com\/blog\/archives\/2005_08.php#006286\">Bookslut<\/a>, and the end of my links<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Now I guess I have to go off and accumulate some more.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and Blogger?
