But they are particularly weird and awful here, in some interesting ways, with good performances, so it&#8217;s worth a quick tour.<\/li>\n<ul><\/ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0262432\/\">George Washington<\/a> maybe felt like more of a groundbreaking indie upon its release in 2000\u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rogerebert.com\/reviews\/george-washington-2001\">Roger Ebert<\/a> called it &#8220;such a lovely film&#8221; Both Brynner and Kerr are good in the roles, and there are some lovely songs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I also rewatched the lovely and heartbreaking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt1084950\/\">Rachel Getting Married<\/a>, which was one of Jonathan Demme&#8217;s best films.
