That makes not one bit of sense, and yet there it is. It&#8217;s already July 4th weekend.<\/p>\n<p>I published a brand new issue of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kaleidotrope.net\/\">Kaleidotrope<\/a>, which I&#8217;m really proud of, and managed to do some writing (and submitting) of my own. So that was good.<\/p>\n<p>I also read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unreality.net\/weblog\/?p=11843#stories\">thirty-four short stories<\/a>, in June, saw <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unreality.net\/weblog\/?p=11843#movies\">six movies<\/a>, and read just <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unreality.net\/weblog\/?p=11843#books\">one book<\/a>. Plus, like always, there was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unreality.net\/weblog\/?p=11843#music\">some music<\/a>. Here&#8217;s the breakdown of all that:<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"stories\"><strong>The stories<\/strong><\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>I read thirty-four short stories in June. I accidentally skipped a day, but I made it up and then some (well, a little some). But it was a book I really, really loved: <i>Station Eleven<\/i> by Emily St. John Mandel.
